Gibson Les Paul Classic Gold, Very Good, Hard, $1,899.00

First year production run. 1990 Gibson Les Paul Classic All Gold. This instrument has become a Relic the old fashion, through many hours of play, which means its a great one. The majority of the instrument appears to be original with the exception of the strap lock buttons, rear pickup which is a Duncan (see photos) and front mounting ring. Added bonus it ships in a Gibson Chain Saw Case!

Despite the wear on the frets, which maintain enough meat to level, crown and polish ($200) it plays well up and down the neck with Low Action. The rear pickup mounting ring has a crack, but still serves its purpose. There is no rash or worming. The neck is straight and true with a functional truss rod.

There is checking and various nicks and dings as photographed. People pay big bucks to have those cosmetic flaws placed onto their instrument. If not for the extremely small neck this is one I would have kept.
