2014 Gibson Les Paul Collectors Choice "Gabby" Sunburst, Near Mint, Original Hard

I don't get a lot of Les Pauls so I rarely get to see how they change from year to year and how different these high end iterations are. I took this in trade on a vintage piece (which I also rarely do) and I'm kind of glad I did. I've always felt that the usual R9's got the 59 neck all wrong-too much shoulder and too much depth. To my surprise (and delight) this one is pretty close to a real 59 profile-an early 59 for sure but it feels right (and I do play a lot of real 59's). These sell for a whole lot more than I'm asking-I just like to clear my trades out so instead of spending 8 large on one of these, why don't you buy this one for $5200. You'll be glad you did. Go out and sell it for $8K-somebody must be paying those prices. This is, essentially, a new guitar. All the dings are factory aging (which is relatively light and tasteful). Original mint brown case.
