Description

This is a cool vintage 1952 Gibson Les Paul. It has had some work done to it, but it is an awesome playing and sounding guitar that sounds incredible. It has been refinished sunburst, and converted to have full sized humbuckers and is loaded with a pair of authentic and fantastic sounding PAF pickups. There are no neck breks or repairs. There are some filled holes on the top, and the area under the bridge was patched - unclear why. All of this was professionally done a long time ago before it was refinished. The pots, pickguard, and knobs are original. It has Grover tuners. The bridge and tailpiece are obviously not original. This has not had a neck reset and retains the normal/standard early Les Paul neck angle but it plays very well with medium action with the bridge all the way down. The pickups are both double black bobbin PAFs. The covers and rings are not original. The "Les Paul" on the headstock is not well done, but the rest of the finish looks good. This guitar has been pro-setup and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original '52 brown and pink case, that someone has tastefully painted a picture of Jimi Hendrix upon.
