1953 Gibson Les Paul Conversion Lucy

FS: 1953-59 Les Paul Conversion. If you love the tone of an all mahogany Les Paul here is a great one. The body and Brazilian fingerboard are from a 1953 goldtop. I made a new neck and book matched the mahogany top. The seam is almost invisible and it looks like a one piece top. I planed the body down 3/16” to reduce the weight and the guitar weighs 8lbs. 4oz. Here are the specs: hide glue used for the neck & fingerboard, Urea-formaldehyde glue used to glue top to body (this is what Gibson used in the 50’s for their 335 laminations and LP top to body) aniline dye / nitro finish holly veneer headstock, correct nitrate inlays, Bartlett binding, 1” vintage steel inserts, 1-1/2” nickel studs, Cream Tone ABR1 bridge & tailpiece, Grover tuners, VooDoo PAF style pickups, ThroBak M69 rings, mammoth ivory nut, vintage style LP silkscreen, CTS 500K pots, Sprague Orange Drop caps, HS case.
