yeah, you regret selling that '58 strat for $375, that you bought in college for 200 bucks. i get that. everybody does. the thing is...i've noticed over the last 30 years or so that; THE guitar people most regret selling is the alnico pickup '50's Les Paul Custom. it's such an un-sung model (hero). it's the one you really just weren't paying attention to...until it was to late. well...here ya go, fruity. 1955 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 5 10006. normal checking with minor scrapes and dings to the finish. Non-original Bigsby has been added in a professional manner. Electronics are original and unmolested. Original Fretless Wonder frets with moderate wear. THIS GUITAR SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGIOUS. it's got a great neck, but it doesn't play worth a shit because it's got the original fretless wonder frets...and they've been filed...ouch. the condition of this guitar is better (i think) than any rap i've read about it on the information super-highway. with CLEAN original hard case. i figure this would be a solid $19,000 guitar...but figure 5 bills or so for a fret job.
