Description

1 owner guitar. Got it for a 15th birthday in '69. Original except changed Grover tuners and a refret with more useable fretwire. 9lbs. 6oz. of Heavenly joy. You're probably looking at this because you know what a Les Paul Custom is. We won't insult your intelligence by trying to tell you what one is, but we WILL inform you that this one is a fantastic version of what that is. Comfortable weight, nice straight, slightly chunky neck. Not a baseball bat, not slim, right down the middle. Pickups sound fantastic, it's just a beautiful Les Paul in super nice condition. Not "like new", but hey, it's not new. It's in pretty remarkable condition for its age, and in AMAZING condition considering the fact that it was owned by a teenager in the '70s. Nothing has ever been cracked or broken. Totally structurally sound. It lives up the "beauty" part of its "Black Beauty" nickname. It's 100% loveable, 100% lustworthy. We see great old guitars all the time. You could even say we're jaded, but this one stands out. If you're looking for an old Les Paul Custom, this just might be exactly the one you're looking for.

One piece body, multi-piece neck.

DC resistance is 7.6 neck, 7.9 bridge.

With OHSC.
