Here’s a great 1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom with some mods and professional repairs that put it at a nice price point. A headstock break was repaired and then the neck and headstock were refinished in relic black to match the body of the guitar. The repair and repainting were so well done there’s virtually no visual evidence of the original break.
The pickups in the guitar are original but the harness was rewired, pots cleaned, and one pot replaced. The cover was removed from the bridge pickup and is no longer with the guitar.
All work was performed by the highly respected and certified luthiers at Portland Fretworks in 2018. Those guys do incredible work with an attention to detail and a level of craftsmanship that is truly old school.
We love this guitar. It’s in great condition structurally and cosmetically and this guitar really delivers the goods.
