Here we have a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom in sunburst finish with an added third pickup. This is clean and beautiful example of a 70s Les Paul Custom with one cool modification: an added third pickup.
Basic Specs: Original waffle-back Kluson tuners. Comfortable Corian nut with a 1 11/16 inch nut width. Three-piece Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. Neck depth of .78 inches at the first fret and .98 inches at the twelfth fret. Slim, fast playing neck profile. Two original Patent Number humbuckers with an added Patent Decal humbucker in the middle position. Three-way wired: Rhythm position gives you neck and middle pickups, Treble position gives you solo bridge pickup, and the middle position gives you all three pickups. Original CTS pots. Gold ABR-1 and stop tailpiece. Original pickguard and control knobs. Gorgeous Cherry Sunburst finish on super clean top.
If you don’t mind the pickup and wiring mod (and we certainly don’t) this is everything you could ask for in a Les Paul Custom. So clean it’s hard to believe. Comes with its original Protector hardshell case.
