Description
Everyone should own a Les Paul Custom. It's the guitar that can do it all. It crazy to think that Gibson stopped making them at one point.

This one has certainly gotten out there and lived in its 40+ years. As with a lot of guitars of this vintage it has evolved with its owners. The gold hardware was swapped out and the pots date to '76 rather than the 70-75 serial number it has. It probably got some Dimarzio's and custom wiring before being restored to a more period correct state. The pickups are Gibson "patent number" pickups with gold screws but have had chrome or nickel covers put on. The serial number is intact but someone must have sanded down the volute at some point before refinishing the neck.

It's got some heft to it but that's the story with just about every LPC I've held in my hands over the years. Typical 70's thin to thick neck taper.

Non-original hard case included.
