Looking for a lightweight Les Paul? Keep looking. This one's not light, but it's cool. Why is it cool? For one thing, it plays great. Has the larger late '70s Custom frets. Not jumbo by any means, but bigger than the true "Fretless Wonder" frets of the earlier Customs. They're factory original, and in great shape. No divots anywhere. As if the guitar was never played at all. The guitar does show very slight wear in other areas. Light scratches, a few small dings, but nothing major at all. The BIG cool factor though is...Factory chrome hardware. Not a speck of gold anywhere. A factory option Gibson didn't get taken up on very often. This Les Paul is 100% original. Nothing has ever been changed on it. It's in beautiful overall condition no matter how old it is, remarkable condition for being 37 years old. Ready to play, all you need to do is be able to handle the better part of 11 pounds. If you think you can, this is as fine of a machine as you could ever hope for. We like this one. A lot. And, even though it's hefty, we've certainly felt heavier from this era. If you've got the muscles, this one's got the time. Or, just sit down and play. Problem solved. If you LIKE heavier Les Pauls, you are gonna love this one. Give us a call...
