9.75 condition with one Tim Shaw pickup, one pickup dated October 1979, and a real ebony fretboard. Why pay more for a new one with a fake ebony “richlite” fretboard? Frets are in great shape with only a slight indentation of the first fret and almost no playwear. The back finish, white binding, and large fretboard markers make these true design classics. 1979, 1980 & 1981 pot dates.
The black finish has sunken into the mahogany grain nicely as you would expect on a 24 old guitar. One small nickel sized spot of shirt button wear on the back. A small ding on the headstock from a low-speed bump. The tailpiece has some tarnish, the rest of the guitar is exceptionally clean.
At 10.4 lbs this does not feel heavy and is well balanced. Original Chainsaw case that is also in excellent shape. Price reduced to $2,750 with bank wire transfer or cash
