Celebrating the Les Paul guitar’s 25th Anniversary and combining it with the man himself, Les Paul’s 50th career anniversary, we have a 1978 Gibson 25/50 Anniversary Les Paul.

This is a beautiful guitar in a Wine Red finish. It sports a flamey carved maple top. It also sports a flamed maple neck, ebony board with slashed block inlays, and a brass nut. There’s plenty of meat left on the frets too. On the headstock is a 25/50 Les Paul commemorative inlay and a special Les Paul Anniversary truss rod cover. This special Les Paul has “Tarback” super humbucking pickups (designed by Bill Lawrence) with a coil tap. It also features a TP-6 fine tune tailpiece.

This guitar is in very good condition, with some finish blemishes. Has a great feel to the neck and has just had a pro-setup. It will ship in its original “chainsaw” case.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 516-221-0563. We'd be happy to give you an in-hand description of the guitar. All of our guitars are properly set up by John Bertsche, our brilliant guitar tech, and will be professionally packed with care.
