A beautiful one-of-a-kind 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Polaris White with factory gold hardware, including a gold Bigsby! This very guitar was covered by Vintage Guitar Magazine in their November 2002 issue as part of an article titled, “The History of the Les Paul Custom: Black Beauty,” dubbing it the “Reverse Beauty.” This particular guitar was custom ordered by a minister who was no stranger to Gibson guitars. To avoid the yellowing he experienced on his previously owned White SG, he specifically requested this guitar without a clear coat to keep it stark white. When he received the guitar from Gibson, he found the guitar was too heavy for him, so it sat in the case unused ever since! The neck profile is a slim carve, with “fretless wonder” fretwire. The guitar features two well matched humbuckers, with a 7.5K in the bridge, and a 7.4K in the neck position.

It weighs in at 11 lbs 5 oz, and comes with original case, inspection tags and Vintage Guitar Magazine article.
