They made plenty of wine red finish Les Paul's so it's not exactly rare but the rarity of this particular one is the chrome hardware (instead of gold)
Being that these late 70's Customs can easily weigh in the 11, 12, 13 lbs. range this one is actually on the light side. This guitar has been owned by it's current owner since the early 90's and been well taken care of. It has some worming on the back and some light scratching and two rice grain sized nicks in finish on back of neck but in otherwise really great overall condition.
