Neck Details: Three piece mahogany neck with bound rosewood board, trapezoid inlay and small volute. The neck has no "MADE IN USA" stamp suggesting it is a late 1969 or very early 1970 neck. The back of the headstock has a "2" designating a factory second.

Electronics: Original with patent number sticker mini humbuckers and black beauty caps. There are two visible 1970 pot dates.

Pickup Measurements: neck 6.9k ohms bridge 7.1k ohms

Hardware: The tail piece and studs have been replaced. The switch tip has been replaced. The mounting plates inside the pickup cavities under the pickups have been replaced. The height adjustment screws for the neck pickup have been replaced. The rest of the hardware appears to be original. The saddle retainer wire is missing from the ABR bridge. This is not affecting playability.

Case: Hardshell Case

Case Details: Original black hard shell case with red interior.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has moderate play wear. There is a long crack running across the top near the selector switch. This is a de-lamination of between two pieces of the maple cap. It is not affecting playability or stability. The back of the body has considerable buckle rash.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide and low with play wear. This guitar would benefit from a refret if taller frets are desired. The back of the headstock has a "2" designating a factory second. The serial number dates to 1970.
