ON HOLD>>This is a very cool Gibson Les Paul Deluxe from 1973 that has some unusual features. It plays extremely well and sounds great. It shows significant play wear but there is no structural damage. In many respects it is a normal early 70's LP deluxe: it has the pancake body, two mini humbuckers, gold finished top etc.. What makes this guitar unusual is that it has a factory one piece neck, with a small 50's headstock and a 17 degree headstock angle. The serial number is lower on the back of the headstock than is standard, and there is no "made in the USA" stamp. It also has factory schaller tuners. Our best guess is that this was an employee guitar made with an older neck but that is purely speculation. In any case it is a great playing guitar and it sounds fantastic. There is some visible overspray on the neck and headstock, but there are no repairs. This guitar has been pro-setup and needs nothing. It comes with the original case.
