The guitar is nice and all-original except easily replaced items, the pickguard bracket and the jack plate. The guitar features 2 mini humbuckers which sound great. Interestingly, the pickups are out of phase in the middle position. The solder joint are untouched and the pickup covers have never been off so it clearly left the factory this way. Patent number stickers are intact. The pots date to the 52nd week of 1968 and 2nd week of 1969. Very early 1969.
The finish is all original and very vibrant. The gold is still very gold and shiny. There is finish checking that is mainly on the back of the neck. There are NO breaks, cracks or issues of that nature. Original nut. Original frets are in good shape with some life left. Comes with era black case with purple interior.
