Up for sale a 1971 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe which has been modded with a pair of Burstbucker pickups replacing the original Mini-Buckers. Top was routed to fit the larger humbuckers and the neck pickup ring has been trimmed to fit around the fingerboard. The top has been refinished in transparent red. New bridge and tailpiece installed. Tuners replaced. Also has plugged holes on the top.
Lots of changes on this one, but the result is a 1971 Les Paul Deluxe that sounds like a Standard model. The Burstbucker pickups sound awesome, just as they should. Guitar is in good overall condition with a nicely refinished top. If you don’t mind the mods, this is a great early 70s Les Paul that you’ll want to play all night long.
