Description

1952 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Converted to PAF humbucking pickups, w/ tune-o-matic bridge, and stop tail piece.

This guitar is setup and ready to go as an old wood PAF Les Paul guitar. It is a players guitar.

This guitar has a very big, nice round neck, with a great feel.

The neck has not been reset, but the bridge is lowered to compensate.

The top of this guitar has been refinished black, but the neck, sides, and back have not been refinished.

The neck pickup reads at 7.9k ohms, and the bridge pickup reads at 8.0k ohms.

The tuner holes have been opened up for aftermarket tuners, and it has newer replacement Klusons on it now.

The tune-o-matic and stop tail appear to be period correct, but unsure.

The pickguard appears to be a cut guard, but not sure from which year.

It has incorrect replacement reflector knobs.

Refretted with oversized frets.

The pots are numbered 440-70501 0234, looks like replaced bumblebee capacitors, one large and one small. (see picture.)

This guitar has Schaller strap lock buttons.

It weighs 9.0 lbs.

The guitar is in fair condition; it comes with its original 4 latch brown case with pink lining.
