2018 Gibson Custom Shop Unofficial Joe Walsh Les Paul Murphy Aged!

Here is a really great and unusual guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop. Check out that top! Now that's what a VINTAGE top looks like! This top would pass for a real 1960 and you can't say that about the vast majority of reissue Les Paul's. It's officially a "Heavy Aged 1959 Les Paul" reissue in Rocky Mountain Fade, but that's not the end of the story. This was ordered new by our owner and was rarely played. The guitar is 100% original and includes all the paperwork and even the original box.

This is an unusual guitar as it was one of a few repurposed Collector's Choice/Artist models that were finished in 2018. This was the only repurposed Joe Walsh that we are aware of. Note: the Joe Walsh serial number under the finish in the control cavity. This was clearly a Tom Murphy-aged (TM initials) Joe Walsh '60 Les Paul reissue with the unmistakable Joe Walsh finish and aging.

It retains all the specs of the original 2013 run guitar but with the True Historic parts that became standard in 2017-2018 making it much more accurate and classic-looking. Once again, the guitar is factory original! The guitar is in Minty condition. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case and all the hangs tags, COA, etc. Murphy-aged Joe Walsh with True Historic parts from the factory. Probably the only one if you care about stuff like that...
