1956 Gibson Les Paul Jr. "Sunburst"

We've had a lot of great sounding Les Paul Juniors pass through the shop, but this 1956 example is definitely one of the best! Lightweight and extremely resonant, this guitar has all the qualities that make these some of the best rock n' roll guitars available. The original "dog ear" P90 pickup is very touch responsive and dynamic; going from screaming Leslie West type tones to mellow, almost acoustic sounds with the volume and tone knobs. The '56 neck profile is the perfect "Soft V" shape that make this an absolute pleasure to play, while a professional refret and newer pots make this the perfect guitar for live playing! If you're looking for a great sounding single cut junior, this one is hard to top!
