[HOLD]1956 Les Paul Junior

Les Paul Junior was introduced in 1954, the same year as Les Paul Custom.
It had a one-piece mahogany flat-top body, a P-90 PU in the rear, and simple controls (1 volume, 1 tone). The Les Paul Custom was released as a top-of-the-line model, while the junior was produced as a student model.
The Gibson logo was silk-screened on the junior, while mother-of-pearl was used on the Standard, Custom, and Special, which was released a year later, and the cost was reduced. /The wood material itself is inherited from the mahogany neck and body of the Special.

The original Les Paul Junior had the PU mounted right next to the bridge, but in mid-1956, the PU position was moved slightly toward the neck.
This guitar has the same specifications as the original Les Paul Junior, but the PU position was moved slightly toward the neck.
This particular Junior has a mellow and warm tone characteristic of mahogany, and yet the contours of each string are crisp, so there is no fuzziness in the sound, and the player's nuances are conveyed well.
