Description

This is a great playing and sounding Gibson Les Paul Junior that was made in the USA in 1959. It was refinished a long time ago and has a nice naturally aged patina. The pickguard, bridge, and knobs are not original. The pickup, pots, and tuners are original. Pots date to the 14th week of 1959. The guitar shows lots of play wear but reains in very good playing condition and it sounds great. It weighs 6 pounds and 5 ounces. There are a couple of filled holes in the top from some sort of vibrato, looks like they were filled before it was refinished. There is also what appears to be a vertical stress crack in the neck on the back of the headstock. Probably at some point the truss rod was over tightened although it is perfectly functional. The crack is not open and looks to have been sealed before the guitar was refinished. This guitar is really a monster. It comes with a non original hard case.
