"Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom."

This quote brought to you courtesy of King Solomon Psalms 2:15. Why did I go all biblical on ya? Well, let me think- I suppose I'm bringing to you a perspective on interpretation. Preachers are famous for this, but when I reflect on this, my mind takes me to what killed our joy? The "Little Foxes" in our lives. The "Foxes" are the distractions, the insecurities and the hatred we are exposed to day in and day out. Believe me, when I was a teenager, I could care less what was on Fox News or Good Morning America. The only thing I cared about was the latest Aerosmith or Van Halen album coming out at Turtles records. That was a magical time in my life and probably in yours as well. If we only had 5 dollars on a Friday night. A fin would get you a couple of gallons of gas, a pack of smokes and a 40 oz of "OE 800" aka Ole English Malt Liquor. The fun we shared back in the day was unparalleled. First band, first guitar and first kiss. This guitar right here back in the day was no more than a few hundred dollars at best. Plugged directly into a Marshall 50 watt JMP, it was nothing short of lethal. Maybe you catch my drift about the fun we had and the absence of the "Little Foxes." This 6 Lb, 10 oz guitar surely is but a reminder of those days. This little girl will be all you remember her being and as an added bonus, she's all original. Well, except for the case. I speak of the "Little Foxes" and of those distractions. I know, cell phones and Facebook are fun (if you're 18,) but put those in the category of, you guessed it- "little foxes." The only things your gonna find on that Facebook are nothing but reminders of why you left that "little something" in your past. Maybe, we cannot go out drinking with boys all night anymore, but we still can plug in, close our eyes and remember a better time. Let's don't progress, how about let us digress...
