Up for sale is a SWEEEET 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway in its original cherry finish. I'm a Junior man through and though and own many vintage Juniors myself. This one stacks up next to the best of them and although there are a few modifications this guitar still retains its important features such as a large majority (98.5%) of its original cherry finish, original P90 pickup and has no breaks. Modifications of this guitar include a filled toggle switch between the two knobs, spots of finish touch up on the face of the headstock, the original bridge studs being slightly moved / original holes filled, slight routing in the pickup cavity, tuners replaced with aftermarket modern Klusons and the tuner holes being enlarged at one point, I imagine to accommodate Grovers. The original dog-ear P90 is present as are the original pots and cap. The pickup cover is non original and the pickguard looks as though it was slightly rounding to accommodate a different pickup cover at some point. That all said, this guitar is a wonderful player with a full 50s neck profile that measures .91 @ 1st and .99 @ 12th. Pro setup in house and comes complete with a modern non original hardshell case.
