Description
Up for sale is a super cool 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cut in its original Cherry finish. The Les Paul Junior is a shop favorite and this particular example sounds incredibly and looks great! Neck specs are more on the '59 side measuring .92 @ 1st and .96 @ 12th. There are a handful of changes to this guitar so please read on. The guitar has been refretted with slightly larger fret-wire than the originals, the wiring harness has been replaced with an RS Guitar Works harness (original is included with one pot dating to 1958, the other to 1960 and the tone cap is replaced), tuners are replaced with modern Kluson style drop ins (originals included) and the bridge has been replaced with a Mojo-Tone intoned bridge. There is a sizable stress crack on the bass side of the back and front of the body, it has been repaired and is stable. At the time the stress crack was repaired we believe the neck was reset as there is evidence this work was done. The good news is the finish is original, the snarling P90 is original and there are no neck breaks or repairs. A total rock-n-roll machine! Pro setup in house and comes complete with a non original hard case.
