1954年に発売されたレスポール・ジュニア。フラットトップのボディやドックイヤータイプのシングルピックアップを1基のみ搭載したシンプルな造りで外連味の無いロックなサウンドが魅力です。縦にコイルを2段に重ねてハムキャンセリングしてあるP-100ピックアップを搭載。P-90の高音域の煌びやかさは残しつつも、ノイズを軽減しているピックアップ。中音域はP-90に比べ厚く押し出しの強さも感じます。コントロールもボリュームにトーンのみの扱いやすいコントロール。ネックは薄めでハイポジションまであまり形状の変わらないネックを採用。マホガニーネックにマホガニーボディのセットネック構造で、中音域にコシと甘さがあるサウンドに楽器全体が響く一体感のあるサウンドが特徴のレスポール・ジュニアです。
