Les Paul Recording" was produced from around 1971 to 1979. Equipped with embossed low-impedance pickups. It is also equipped with a switch for switching between high and low impedance, a characteristic of early models. The 11-step rotary switch, which can be used at low impedance, functions to shave off the high a little at a time. The 3-way switch has a 1-way switch that activates only the volume and rotary switch, a 2-way switch that activates all circuits, and a 3-way switch that bypasses only the treble/Bass}. The body is a pancake construction, but the body top is also made of mahogany. It is a very special model, to say the least, but it is a Les Paul model that makes you think, "It is so cool that they came up with such a guitar," and you can strongly feel the manufacturer's ambition.
