Description

This beautiful 1962 Gibson Les Paul (SG) Custom comes in its original Polaris White finish! The combination of this creamy Polaris White finish, slightly gold hardware, and rich ebony fretboard make for a stunning look, and this particular piece is in excellent shape. The prior owner was clearly a player with a keen ear, as the middle pickup polarity has been changed to have all pickups in phase with each other. This creates a thick, meaty tone with no real loss of the bottom end. All the pickups are very well-balanced and sound fantastic amped up! Aside from the wiring change to the middle pickup, all other aspects of the guitar are original.

Overall Condition:  9, light wear spots, some light shrinking of the binding on the bass side near the nut
