1962 Gibson Les Paul (SG) Junior "Cherry"

A truly phenomenal example of an early 1962 SG-body Les Paul Jr.! The lightweight mahogany body features a beautiful grain pattern and is exceptionally loud and resonant even when played unplugged. The mahogany neck is slightly larger than most SG Juniors of this time period, making for one of the best playing examples we've had. The screaming "dog ear" P90 pickup and original electronics can make this guitar go from sweet to raunchy with subtle manipulations of the tone control; perfect for the "Live at Leeds" era Who type sounds! It is becoming hard to find these early examples with no breaks or modifications; they simply don't come better than this!
