Gibson Les Paul/SG Standard 1962 w PAFs
Just in, one of my favourite models! A 1962 Gibson Les Paul/SG Standard with the sideways vibrola and its original PAF pickups.
This particular guitar has been well played with fade on the neck and on the front of the body as well as some pickwear below the last fret/at the neck join. There are no structural repairs like so many of these have, with only some minor separation on the low E side of the heel thats completely stable.
Work to the guitar includes:
The PAF nickel plated pickup covers have been removed, now replaced with 70s gold plated Gibson covers that have been stripped down to the nickel. The pole pieces are factory nickel correct for a '62 Standard.
A refret and a new nut have been installed. There is some touchup near the nut below the low E string.
The ABR1 bridge is an aged historic reissue, the pickup height adjustment screws have been replaced, as well as the vibrola arm with a vintage correct replacement.
Overall this Les Paul/SG is in great shape featuring two PAF pickups with original coils, original plastics, full wiring harness with centralab pots, tremolo, tuners and strap buttons.
Comes in a later 70s hardcase in poor but solid condition.
