Description

A players 1950s Les Paul Special. The guitar was refinished in the 1970s and converted to a two piece bridge (the patched wrap around holes are visible). Large rounded 50s Neck Profile, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, Dual P-90 pickups, and Mahogany Construction. There is evidence there was once a humbucker installed in the bridge position. Mostly changed parts with 1970s pots installed when the work was done. Original neck and body, fingerboard, frets, pickguard, and P-90s (new leads) otherwise newer parts. Good vintage condition displaying nicks, dings, play wear, and lots of finish checking. No evidence of there having been a headstock crack or repair. A fun old wood Les Paul from Gibson's Golden Age that will not break the bank. Included is a modern hardshell case.
