1958 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow

This guitar just came to us from the family of its original owner! A stunning example of the last year for single cut Les Paul Specials, this TV model features the rare and highly desired "TV Yellow" finish. This instrument combines a pair of Gibson "Soap Bar" p90 pickups with an extremely resonant, single cut mahogany body for the distinctive tone that have made these so popular amongst rock n' roll players. The bound neck with a dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is the perfect '58 profile; not too large and comfortable to play at every fret. A home made metal jack cover is the only change to this otherwise original example, and the guitar even includes the original Gibson soft case, leather strap, and 1/4" cable. One-owner guitars of this caliber are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and to be in this condition while also being a fantastic playing and sounding guitar makes this one a total winner!
