1959 Gibson Les Paul Special Cherry

This is an exceptionally clean example of a 1959 Les Paul Special! Unlike many of these, The original "Cherry" finish is vibrant and largely unfaded. The '59 neck profile is about as close as it gets to the feel of a '59 "burst" while the mahogany double cut body is highly resonant acoustically and absolutely screams when plugged in. This guitar includes the original faux-alligator chipboard case. Juniors and Specials have become increasingly sought after in recent years and a clean and original example like this is becoming much harder to find.
