1962 Gibson Les Paul Special Cherry Red w/ Gibson Slash Hard Case
This vintage original 1962 Gibson Les Paul Special is a particularly great playing example. A real holy grail in the history of Les Paul guitars.
Nice and light and resonant with a killer tone. Original P-90 pickups are remarkably warm and strong with tone for days.
Neck is the perfect size...in the early '60s the necks got a bit smaller from the larger baseball bat sized necks of the '50s. This one is the perfect size and fits perfectly in your hand. Plays incredibly well with a low action and no buzz or issues all the way up and down. Just set up by our tech and ready to roll.
The finish is a professional re-finish. The guitar is priced accordingly and the finish is a real professional job.
Serial number dates the guitar to 1962, pots are dated '63.
Original vintage P-90 pickups sound just incredible. Among the best sounding pickups ever made. Nice and warm and punchy with a clean tone. Screaming with distortion. Always warm and round.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
