For those of you looking for a great 'entry-level' burst, I present to you, in full living color 'Cindy' (as in Cindy Crawford). She gets her name from the 'beauty mark' mineral streak by the bridge pickup, which is also the most likely reason for the factory 2nd stamp above the serial number, but let me tell you people, there is nothing second quality about this burst! It's a lightweight 8.8 pounds, with a beefy neck profile and original large frets with plenty of life in them, so it plays great. The PAF pickups read 9.0k ohms at the bridge (double white), and 8.5k ohms at the neck (zebra) and this thing sounds amazing! The pot code is 134907 which dates out to 7th week of 1959. The guitar has all-original hardware including tuners, but it had Grovers installed at one time which caused three small chips in the veneer; they have glued back down properly with no overspray, and the Grover holes have been addressed as well so the grommets fit tight as they should. There really isn't much flame to speak of, but the color more than makes up for that as it retains most of its original deep cherry sunburst finish with very little fade if any. The overall condition is excellent with a few finish checks, some belt scar & worming, and a few scattered chips here and there. This comes with its original 5-latch brown Lifton case that's in beautiful condition as well.
