1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard. An amazing “Burst” that lived most of its life in Copenhagen, Denmark and was with the same owner since 1969 until very recently. It was played in his band “Benzon’s Railroad” through the early-’70s and has been carefully cared for since. This guitar is in great condition and has a wonderful look with a faded “Honeyburst” finish and tasteful flame on the Maple top. This early-1960 still retains all of the important 1959 specs including a comfortable, chunky neck and is an outstanding playing instrument. Original with the exception of a few minor plastic parts and the original covers for the double-white PAF humbuckers were removed, but are intact and included. This guitar produces the quintessential Burst tone with powerful and clear PAFs, touch-sensitive dynamics and a warm, woody sustain. A holy grail instrument with an unmatched sound! Includes original brown hardshell case.
