1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop

These have become increasingly hard to find! This is a fantastic, early example of the re-introduction of the Les Paul model in 1968. With a mahogany body and carved maple top, large '50's style neck profile, "reflector" knobs, and two incredible "Soap bar" P90 pickups, this guitar is as close to the original 50's Les Pauls as it gets! This guitar has changed tuners and a metal jack plate, but is otherwise a straight example of one of the last truly great Goldtops Gibson made! This guitar is very similar to the guitar used by Brian Jones during the Rolling Stones' "Rock n' Roll Circus" performance.
