1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst
Here's a 1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst finish. Besides a little buckle rash on the back, the guitar is very clean (especially the top). No breaks, cracks, or repairs. Everything on the guitar is original with the exception of one pot, and the capacitors (which are upgraded). The 3 original pots date to '78, with the pickups dating to January of '79, and the serial also dating to '79. The pickups are original Pat No Stamped humbuckers, that sound fantastic! Full, balanced, and articulate. The neck reads at 7.46k, while the bridge is 7.46k. The neck, which has a 60's slim profile, is absolute butter and plays fast. Action is low down the fretboard. Killer guitar. OHSC!
