1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst

Vintage 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This one could be one of the cleanest '89 Les Paul Standard up for grabs. Serial #81509570 shows the guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA on May 30th, 1989 Production Number: 70.

*The integrity of the instrument is spot on.
*No Rash.
*No Worming.
*Neck Straight and True.
*Truss Rod Fully Functional.
*Frets appear Original with Divots on the first 5 Frets. The wire appears to have never been leveled, crowned and polished.
*The Head Stock veneer has been refinished due to a defect in the face. The repair is evident by Orange Peel and a Tape mark on the back of the head stock. I personally think it is irreverent in appearance, but with knowledge, wet/dry sand paper and a buffing wheel I'm certain it can be remedied.
*The instrument plays with low action free of dead spots.
*Color Cherry Sunburst Rich and Vibrant.
*Strap Locks have been added.
*Tuners appear to be Original.
*Pickups have been changed to Duncan's, which was he common mod for 1990 based upon the popularity of Slash.
*Case Gibson Chain Saw Case that is functional, but doesn't stay open.
*Rear pickup trim ring has a crack for full disclosure.

You will be hard Pressed to find another 30 year old Les Paul with a Top as this has this clean.
