Now we’re talking gold top! For your consideration a 2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard in a Gold Sparkle finish! Who doesn’t love a great sparkle guitar? Who ever owned this guitar last defiantly loved it! The back is well worn showing lots of player wear but the front is still quite clean and sparkle! It was freshly plek’ed before we received it so the frets are like new now! A plek machine scans the guitars fingerboard and frets and then levels and dresses the frets for maximum playability.
Specs! This guitar is in good condition. Chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners. Nut width measures 1-11/16″. Mahogany neck with a depth of .825″ at the first fret and .93″ at the twelfth fret. 24.75″ scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. Action measures 4/64″ straight across! The 22 frets are in excellent + condition (freshly plek’ed). Maple top on a mahogany body finished in Gold Sparkle, back and sides finished in black. Back is decently worn. Original two Gibson humbuckers. Original wiring. The bridge was replaced with a Schaller tune-o-matic with a stop bar tail piece. The strap buttons have been replaced with Dunlop strap lock buttons (original in the case). Comes with a non-original SKB hard shell case. Weighs 9 pounds and 13 ounces.
When a gold top isn’t enough reach for the Sparkle Gold top! This guitar was made to be on stage! Super fast comfortable neck. Freshly pleck’ed, fret ends feel great. Action set at 4/64″ straight across, you can really shred on this axe! When a guitar has been played this much it means its a good one! Great sounds, playing and looking Les Paul!
