2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Faded Vintage Honey Burst

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body, single bound AA figured maple top with satin nitrocellulose Vintage Honey Burst Finish, Burstbucker 1&2 humbucking pickups with exposed black bobbins and cream plastic pickup surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with gold plastic bonnet knobs, three way pickup selector switch with cream plastic selector ring and amber colored plastic switch tip, aluminum stop tailpiece, ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic bridge with six individual adjustable steel saddles, set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, Graphtech nut, Gibson open book peghead shape, black peghead face with pearl Gibson logo and gold Les Paul Model signature logo, multi-ply black and white plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, three per side Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with green keystone tuner buttons, serial number and Made In USA impressed into the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics and switch cavity cover plates, two metal strap buttons, nickel plated metal hardware and original Gibson hard shell case with brown Tolex covering and red plush interior. This instrument includes all its paperwork, original (never installed) pickguard, extra truss rod cover, Gibson multi-tool, factory photograph, hangtag and original strap. This guitar weighs 9lb 2oz.

This 2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Faded is in excellent almost near mint cosmetic condition. There is some very light “buckle” wear on the back of the body that was very hard to capture in photos. Otherwise, this Les Paul appears nearly brand new. This guitar features a rounded, medium chunky 50s style neck profile that feels exceptional and is very comfortable and easy to play. The fret wire shows no wear and this instrument plays like a dream up and down the rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The Gibson Burstbucker 1&2 humbucking pickups sound excellent and all of the electronics are in perfect working order. This instrument delivers a very fat yet articulate biting tone from the bridge position pickup that excels with overdriven tones but also cleans up very well with the volume control. The neck position pickup has a very round woody tone that is great for warm jazzy cleans and thick overdriven leads. This Lester is also quite resonant and when played unplugged it rings out pretty loud! The figured maple top on this example is quite nice and pairs very well with the dark rosewood fingerboard and vintage style hardware. This new Faded series from Gibson is top notch and if you are searching for a Les Paul, we highly recommend this one!
