Description
From the first official year of SG-shaped Les Paul Standards ( a few were reportedly made in vey late 1960) comes this superb "Les Paul Standard" from 1961 - the name changed to "SG" in 1963.

In excellent condition with two very common pickguard shrinkage tip breaks, a small headstock chip and little playing wear, this one has the original PAF humbuckings, Les Paul logo truss rod cover and a beautifully deep and rich cherry finish.

Complete with the original "sideways" vibrola, Kluson Deluxe "tulip" tuners, slim, fast neck and all-original parts this one weighs in at a very light 7.0 pounds.

This is a great chance to get into a vintage mahogany Gibson with PAF's for a tremendously affordable price - a great playing guitar and a great investment! Please call us for additiona details and to inquire about other items in our current inventory.
