From a time when Gibson didn't realize they could charge more for R9's by putting the more elaborate tops on those instruments, while placing lesser tops on R8's. Let's go back in time to 2001 when Gibson's wood selection, engineering and quality of build were the top priority. This is a perfect example of what Gibson was producing. A perfect example of a Highly Flamed 1958 Reissue in Lemon burst.
100% Original without repairs or alterations weighing 8 Lbs 13.7 Ozs of Solid wood construction. Just in from a large collection of properly maintained instruments with no play time on it. The hardware and pickup covers are starting to develop the natural occurring patina that over time with use will push this instruments aesthetics well over the top.
