2008 Gibson Les Paul Studio Fireburst

Summary: This is a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Studio in a beautiful “Fireburst” finish….this baby has been through a lot in it’s short life with lots of hardware changes, replacement pickups & a stripped back, however, it has a great light weight & it plays and sounds great.

Body: Solid body single cutaway Les Paul with a mahogany body & a plain maple cap.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, beautiful pearloid block inlays, Gibson Deluxe tuning machines, 1 11/16” nut width & a 24.75” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: This instrument has chrome hardware (replacement hardware), gold strap buttons, Gibson Deluxe tuning keys (replacement chrome tuners – the original tuners were gold), 2 Golden Era Parson Street humbucker pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch, replacement chrome tune-o-matic bridge & stop tailpiece. Cream plastics, no pickguard, replacement amber speed knobs.

Cosmetics: This Les Paul is in pretty good shape – the back has been stripped down to the natural wood but whoever did it did a great job – it’s a little rough around the edges but nothing major. The instrument does show normal signs of wear such as pick scratching, scratches on the back control plates, a few small dings on the body & some wear around the edges of the headstock. All wear is consistent with a well-played but loved Gibson Les Paul…..

Playability: This Gibson plays great – we recently set it up with a new set of 10’s and the action is low & the guitar plays great up & down the fingerboard. The truss rod has been tested & this Gibson is ready to be played and loved for years to come.

Modifications: Replacement chrome hardware (Gibson says that the original hardware was Gold), 2 replaced humbucker pickups, replacement Gibson Deluxe tuning keys, the finish has been stripped off of the back of the guitar.
