The Gibson Les Paul Supreme was introduced in 2003 and has been built since then. It features a chambered body with carved maple top and carved back on a mahogany core. The neck is mahogany with an ebony fingerboard and mother of pearl split-block markers, and a multi-material globe inlay with an engraved mother of pearl 'Supreme' banner.
The Les Paul Supreme is a very classy yet understated guitar. This example dates to January 30, 2004 and was built at the Gibson Nashville shop. It's in very good condition with minor play wear, and the expected wear on the gold-plated parts where they've come into contact with skin over time. Fretwear is minor. The original case is included.
For those wondering about how Les Paul Supreme electronics are serviced, since there is no backplate or F-holes - if you look, you'll see that the output jack plate is oversized, and it covers an access hole big enough to pull out the wiring. The pickups themselves are installed from the top, with the wiring fed down through this access hole.
