1996 Gibson Les Paul Topaz Sunburst with Brown Gibson Hardshell Case

Summary: Not your typical Les Paul Studio, this gorgeous Gem Series Topaz model features a pair of dynamite sounding P-90s, and eye-catching dark sunburst finish with gold hardware. The pearl trapezoidal inlays really pop next to the dark rosewood fretboard. This is a great player and has been professionally inspected and set up by our in house luthier. It ships in a nice brown Gibson hard shell case.

Body: It has a solid mahogany body with 3 tone sunburst, no binding, carved top and one ply cream pickguard.

Neck: The smooth medium profile mahogany neck features an unbound rosewood fingerboard with pearl trapezoidal inlays, 22 frets, 24.75” scale length and 1.675” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: The pickups are cream covered Gibson P90s with 2 volumes, 2 tones, gold speed knobs and 3-way toggle. The hardware is gold, Nashville style bridge, tailpiece and gold Gibson Deluxe tuners with green keystone pegs.

Cosmetics: This Les Paul is in great condition, no major cracks, breaks, dings, scratches or visible repairs. There are a few light scratches on the back and pickguard but the frets are pristine and looks like it was in its case most of its life and babied when it wasn’t.

Playability: This Gibson has been inspected, set up and restrung by our in house luthier with a set of 10s. The action is low, the neck is straight and it plays wonderfully. The frets are smooth, round, level and show no wear.
