2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Ocean Blue

Summary: This is a fabulous 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional in a beautiful Ocean blue finish. Gibson marketed this instrument was an attempt to re-create the 1959 Les Paul. The Solid Sound of an Uncompromising Mahogany Body without Weight Relief - New ’59 Tribute humbuckers re-capture the golden age of rock – AA figured maple cap.

Body: Solid body, single cutaway Les Paul with a mahogany body & a lightly flamed maple cap. The top is fully bound.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, pearloid block inlays, 24.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 12” radius, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys with tulip buttons, 22 frets. This is a 50’s style neck profile.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, cream plastic pickguard, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys, 2 Alnico # 2 humbucker pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch, tune-o-matic bridge & stop tail piece, gold speed knobs.

Cosmetics: This wonderful Gibson Les Paul is in great shape – there are some light signs of wear on the body, but the beauty of the instrument overcomes any imperfections. There is a little buckle rash on the back, a few minor dings on the top, a scratch on the side of the guitar, some light scuff marks near the strap buttons. It is a used guitar but has no cracks or breaks and the top looks fantastic!

Playability: This Gibson has been set up with a fresh set of 10’s and the action is low & it plays great up & down the fingerboard. The frets are in great shape & have most of their life left in them.
