1952 Gibson LG-1 Sunburst, Fair, Soft, $599.00

A fifties Kalamazoo Gibson for less than 600 bucks? Here ya go!Occasionally we get stuff in here that are Stray Rescues that just need to go to a good home. This is one such beast. 1952 LG-1 that was probably improperly stored for a long while. If you're practicing your lutherie skills or know someone who could help you out this could be a great little project. It will need a neck reset. The back and sides look to be crack free but the top has a crack on bass side upper waist near fingerboard. Tuner buttons have shrunk and may need to be replaced at some point. Frets are still playable but fingerboard has diviting. May have a long ago overspray on finish as well.But despite it's poor condition could be a real gem of a player.In Good condition, this is an $1800 guitar, we figured 1/3 of that is a good place to start.With chipboard case.
