A 1952 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar in Sunburst finish.
This guitar is in Very Good condition with some finish bubbling on the headstock overlay and otherwise less than average play wear. It's a very clean instrument for being 70+ years old. LG-1s are essentially the same guitar as LG-2s but with ladder bracing instead of X bracing which gives the LG-1 a more focused mid-range sound. Perfect for country blues fingerpicking, but also an excellent strummer. The mid-range of these guitars helps them project well in a band setting while still staying clear of vocals. Set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech and playing very well. Comes with a hard shell case, too.
